Description
One of the best ways to learn about mushroom ecology and the species in our forests is to head out with our expert team of mycologists.
We organise guided educational outings throughout the year. At the end of winter we set out in search of marzuolus, and in autumn our beech and oak woods offer a wonderful variety of mushrooms.
We will share knowledge and experiences, learn about the main edible species, and always encourage good practices for foraging and consumption.
*All activities at Parque Micológico Ultzama are covered by civil liability insurance.
*All our guides hold an official qualification as mycologists and/or mushroom guides.

In case of rain, the activity will still take place. Depending on specific conditions, the order or duration of certain parts may change, but the total duration and content of the activity will remain the same.
In the event of weather alerts or insufficient mushroom growth for the activity to take place properly, all registered participants will be informed. You may choose to join another outing or request a refund.
It is recommended. If you do not have them, mushroom knives (Opinel, €18) and baskets in different sizes (small, medium and large: €20, €23 and €25 respectively) are available for purchase. You can request the equipment during registration or on the day of the activity.
